Chiefs sweep Chipley 13-3, 3-0

Northview swept Chipley, Fla. in district baseball action April 11-12.

The Chiefs beat CHS in a road game 13-3 last Thursday, before following the win up with a 3-0 decision on Friday.

Seth Killam struck out 11 and allowed no runs on four hits in 6.0 innings of work to earn the win. Nick Venable struck out two in 1.0 inning for the no decision.

Venable, Killam, Tanner Levins, Jackson Moore and Jacob Bryant had one hit each to lead the Chiefs, who lead in district play.

Killam and Ben Wilson had one RBI each.

Northview 13, Chipley 3

Killam went 4-for-4 with three singles, one double, an RBI and three runs to lead NHS.

Venable, Levins, Wilson, Adam Aliff and Jacob Bryant had two hits each in the win.

Levins pitched 6.0 innings and allowed three runs on seven hits in the win.

The Chiefs scored two runs each in the first, third, fourth and fifth innings; four runs in the sixth; and one in the second.
