Belle Manning Bachelor departed this life on May 4, 2019.

Mama Belle, as she was affectionately known, leaves behind seven children, 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was born March 5, 1929, to Earl Sr. and Ernestine Manning. She was the wife of only one man, John Allen Bachelor Sr., they being married August 23, 1946, shortly after his return from combat as a Marine in the Pacific theater of World War II.

Papa John preceded Mama Belle in death almost 30 years before, on Dec. 3, 1989. She was an example to be followed, bearing so graciously every challenge she faced. She always pointed those around her to her heavenly Father, the almighty God and to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved and was loved, and will be dearly missed.
