Summer Food Programs to start soon

The Poarch Creek Indians is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) again this summer.
Starting this Tues., May 28, until Aug. 4, 2019, Monday through Friday, meals — breakfast and lunch — will be provided to all children without charge.
Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all SFSP activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the mal service, according to a release.
There will be no meal program on July 4, 2019 due to the national holiday.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.; and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The location of the service is 517 Martin Rd., Atmore, Ala.

Other summer food opportunities include breakfast and lunch being served at Escambia County High School and W.S. Neal Elementary School from June 4-28.
The program runs Monday through Thursday, from 7:30-9 a.m. for breakfast, and from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
Breakfast and lunch are served at ECHS and WSNES, and breakfast only is served at Escambia County Middle School, Flomaton Elementary School, Rachel Patterson Elementary School and W.S. Neal High School.
No charge for anyone under 18 years old.
