Mrs. Gwnette Berry, 84, passed away on July 9, 2019 at her home in Bratt, Fla.

Mrs. Berry was a native of Chestnut Grove, and had resided in Bratt since 1953.

She retired from Vanity Fair with 17 years of service and was a member of the Oak Grove Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Wilkins; her father and step-mother, Shelby and Lettie Wilkins; husband, Colon Berry; and son, Everette Berry.

She is survived by her three sons, Ervin Berry of Davisville, Travis (Patsy) Berry of Davisville and Sammy (Laura) Berry of Bratt; two sisters, Annie Ruth Flanigan of Albany, Ga. and Sally Carmichael of Baton Rogue, La.; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held July 11, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Minister Brad Sullivan officiating.

Burial followed at the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Travis Harrison, Frank Smar, Tyson Smar, Justin Smar, Nathan Smar and James Sullivan.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
