Mr. Thomas Wesley Dean, 61, passed away on Sun., July 7, 2019, in Bay Minette.

Mr. Dean was a native of Bay Minette, former resident of Texas and Atlanta and had resided in Perdido for the past seven years. Mr. Dean loved his family and his work. He served in the oil field for 20 years as a seismographic supervisor, 20 years as a logger in various capacities and was a member of the Perdido Masonic Lodge No. 752.

He is survived by his mother, Christine Patterson of Bay Minette; wife of 42 years, Kathy R. Dean of Perdido; two sons, Jason Thomas (Melissa) Dean of Texarkana, Texas and Kevin (Sandra) Dean of Perdido; one sister, Terri (Butch) Purvis of Saraland; and nine grandchildren, Jackson, Victoria, Nelson, Norah, Kobe, Lucieanna, Phillip, Isabella and Caleb.

Funeral services were held July 12, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Pruitt officiating.

Burial will follow at the Brown Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jarrett Crysell, Jason Crysell, Cagan Crysell, George Dean, Billy Dean, Jr. and Austin Dean.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
