Eloise Hamilton Mothershed, 82, of Atmore, passed away on Aug. 8, 2019, in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born to the late Eugene and Bertha Caraway Hamilton on Aug. 22, 1936, in Atmore.

She was a retired clothing cutter at Vanity Fair.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles R. Mothershed; and siblings Claude Hamilton, Willie Floyd Hamilton and Ann Hamilton Troutman.

She is survived by her children Ricky (Heike) Mothershed of Stafford, Va., Sherry (Shawn) Flynn of Pensacola, Fla. and Rita Matzenger of Mobile; her brother, Henry (Donna) Hamilton of Pensacola; a sister, Ruby Grimes of Pensacola; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Aug. 12, 2019, at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Tedder officiating. Burial followed in Mothershed Cemetery.

Visitation was held Aug. 12 from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
