United Fund of Atmore officials have extended the drawing for its raffle fundraiser to next Thurs., Aug. 22, at 5:30 p.m.

UF is holding the fundraiser as the current campaign year nears its end.

The organization, which helps agencies that impact the community, is selling raffle tickets for $1 apiece for its gift basket raffle. The winner gets a gift basket, filled with gift certificates and goodies from United Bank, The Publican, Wind Creek Casino and Hotel and a downtown boutique.

Those who purchase a ticket do not have to be present to win when the drawing will be held next week.

To buy a ticket, contact President Andrew Garner or any board member, including Hannah Johnson, Morgan Smith, Cierra Wilkins and Emilee Waters.
