Gunnery Sgt. Ernest T. Fields Jr.’s funeral services will be held at Zion Fountain A.M.E. Zion Church on August 31, 2019 at noon.

Ernest departed this life on August 23, 2019 at the Kensington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mobile.

He was born and raised in Stockton.

At the age of 17 he joined the United States Marine Corp. where he served for 22 years. He retired on Jan. 1, 2009.

Ernest was a loving father, son and friend.
