Linda A. Jay Johnson, 54, of Uriah, passed away on Sat., Oct. 12, 2019 at her residence.

She was a homemaker, born in Atmore, on Dec. 10, 1964, to Jimmy Jay and Margaret Jones.

She is preceded by her mother, Margaret Jones; and a sister, Charlene Pugh.

Survivors are her husband, Chris Phillips of Uriah; her father, Jimmy Jay of Atmore; three sons, Nicholas (Rebekah) Johnson of Silverhill, Austin Johnson and Cory Phillips, both of Uriah; two daughters, Amber Phillips of Uriah and Catelyn (Tony) Sells of Poarch; five brothers, Ronnie (Martha) Jay of Bay Minette, Randy (Joyce) Jay of Davisville, Fla., Roger

(Amanda) Jay of Atmore, Jeff (Meg) Diedtrich of Woodstock, Ga. and Buck (Stephne) Jay of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, Sharon (Todd) Stearns of Brewton; grandchildren, Pascal, Gracie, Gracelyn and Jaylen; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be this Fri., Oct. 18, 2019, at 10 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thurl Pearson officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Buck Jay, Jace Smith, Larry Pugh, Matt Luker, Chris Jay and Michal Jay. Honorary pallbearers will be Chason Jay, Timothy Jay, J.T. Stearns, Larry Pugh Jr., Levi Smith and Casey Jordan.

Family will receive friends tomorrow, Thurs., Oct. 17, 2019, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
