Mr. Michael Wayne Parker, 68, passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his daughter on Friday, November 15, 2019.

Mr. Parker was a native of Gulfport, Miss., former resident of McHenry, Miss. and had resided in Atmore for the past 23 years. Mr. Parker was a self employed contractor most of his working career and a member of the Perryville Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Linda Rolin Parker; parents, Modie and Doris Parker; three brothers, M.P. Parker, Bud Parker and Modie Parker Jr.; and two sisters, Sue Parker and Dolly Edwards.

He is survived by his son, Chad (Anitra) Parker of Poarch; daughter, Natalie (Chris) Lee of Poarch; brother, Bobby (Brenda) Parker of McHenry; sister, Mary Agnes Smith of McHenry; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral were held Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Dewayne McQueen officiating.

Burial followed at the Judson Cemetery.

Visitation was held November 17, 2019 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Lynn Eley, Joseph Parker, Tommy Parker, Jake Thomas, Larry Faircloth, John O’Barr, Tyler Jackson and Tyler Buckley.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert Parker, Jamie Thomas, Ricky Faircloth, Josh Thomas, Jerry Faircloth, Bubba O’Barr and Chris Lee II.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
