Mr. Donnell “Don” Rounsaville, 82, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019, in Atmore.

Mr. Rounsaville was a native of Laurel, Miss., former resident of Alaska and had resided in Atmore for the past 33 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atmore, the Gideons and a contributor to the Young Life Organization.

He is preceded in death by his step-son, Lee Coker; son, John David Rounsaville; and daughter in law, Dori Rounsaville.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Rounsaville of Atmore; three sons, Steven (Darlene) Rounsaville of Kodiak, Ark., Clayton (Holly) Rounsaville of Grants Pass, Ore. and Robert Rounsaville of Lockport, Ill.; one step-son, Charles (Mishalene) Coker of Shalimar, Fla.; one daughter, Kathy (Orbi) Gonzales of Glendale, Ariz.; one sister, Barbara Helton of Atmore; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Rickey Tedder officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Steven Rounsaville, Clayton Rounsaville, Robert Rounsaville, Charles Coker, Wes Coker and Jordan Coker.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
