Ms. Sallie Mae McWilliams was born on March 5, 1950, to Willie Mack and Artist Abrams- McWilliams in Camden.
She attended Escambia County Training School and was a member of the El Bethel Holiness Church in Atmore. Her life revolved around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Sallie made her sweet transition from time to eternity on November 27, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Azlene “Lene” Crowder, Maggie Hector, Jessie James McWilliams and Deloise “Loise” Cooper.

Those who will forever cherish her loving memories and unforgettable legacy include two beautiful daughters, Yvonne McWilliams and Theresa (Larry “Bart” Brown) McWilliams-Allen both of Atmore; siblings, Rose “Rosie” Wright, Willie “June Bug” McWilliams Jr., Elizabeth “Sweet Lucy” (Cleveland) Jenkins, Judy McGlon and Julius “Chris” (Evelene) McWilliams; one uncle, Willie “Turk” (Delanor “Del”) Abrams; seven grandchildren, Lasqevia McWilliams of Mobile, Anthony McWilliams of Atmore, Raven (Michael) Moore of Tuscaloosa, Reginald Yelder, Terrance Allen, Akaeem Allen and Brittany Allen, all of Atmore; eight great-grandchildren, Jocob Herbert, Kayden Yelder, Ka`Miyah Carter, Antonio McWilliams, Breana “Bre” Smith, Reginae “Nae Nae” Yelder, Kingsley “King” Moore and Raleigh Yelder; special nephew, Willie Jackson of Mississippi; special and devoted friends, Ida Williams (devoted cousin); Lucy DuBose (devoted friend), Andrew and Lilly Rogers (devoted neighbors); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are this Saturday, December 7, 2019, at noon, at Lighthouse Apostolic Holiness Church, 95 Monroe St., Atmore, with Apostle Robert Grissett Sr., as pastor, and Elder Julius McWilliams as eulogist.

Internment will be held in Fairview Cemetery.
