Mr. Douglas Edward Clack, 58, of Atmore, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, December 1, 2019, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.

A native of Reidsville, N.C., Mr. Clack was reared in Brewton and he was a 1981 graduate of W.S. Neal High School in East Brewton.

After graduation, he was employed at D.W. McMillian Hospital in Brewton, Alabama Ductile Co. and after relocating to Atmore, he was employed at Standard Furniture Co. in Bay Minette.

Douglas was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and never met a stranger.

Douglas is now reunited in eternity with his parents, Robert Edward and Sadie Ruth Clack; his brothers, Eugene Clack and James Morris; a sister in law, Phyllis Clack; and brother in law, Curtis Thomas Philon.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are his wife, Cynthia Renae Clack of Atmore; three daughters, Whitley (Demetris Sr.) Preyear and Mariah Campbell of Brewton, and Angelica Clack of Montgomery; three sons, Christopher (Sandra) Fountain Sr., Darrius Fountain all of Brewton, and Jeremiah Clack of Atmore; two step-daughters, Brittany (Roderick II) Montgomery of Orlando, Fla. and Jameka Rudolph of Montgomery; a brother, Robert Clack of Brewton; three sisters, Roslyn Philon of Silas, Robin (Calvin) Green and Mary (Ollie) Bailey of Brewton; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and friends.

Funeral service were held December 7, 2019 at The House of God which is the Church of The Living God The Pillar, Ground And Truth without Controversy- Atmore (Freemanville Community) with General Elder Dr. Jeanette Lott, pastor, officiating. Inhumation was in Baptist Hill Cemetery-Brewton with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
