Mary Frances Smith, 77, of Atmore, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019, at her residence. 

She drove a truck and worked at Buster’s Resturant for many years, also owned Ramblin Rose.

She was born in Georgianna on November 25, 1941, to the late Arthur and Inez Johnson Stokes.

She is preceded by her parents; two daughters, Kathy Harrison and Angela

Stoll; and a brother, Mack Stokes.

Survivors are her husband of 51 years, Aubrey Smith of Atmore; a son,

Aubrey “Sonny Man” (Faye) Smith of Turnerville; five daughters, Janet Hayes of St.Stephens, Judith (Rusty) Zeller of Picaynne, Miss., Jackie (Larry)

Kiper of Saraland, Jeannie (Wayne) Crabbtree of Semmes and Kimberly

Turner of Mt. Vernon; step-daughters, Vicky (Don) Williams of McCullough; Lisa (Ricky) Ward of Excel and Michelle (Claude) Turberville of Saraland; one brother, Lester (Naomi) Stokes of Crenshaw County; 24 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held November 22, 2019 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Glenn Barnhill officiating. Family received friends November 22, 2019 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home. A graveside service followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saraland. Active pallbearers were Tommy Primm, Timothy Primm, Jason Vickery, Michael Thomas, Bo Ward and Jesse Ward. 

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
