All county high schools didn’t change classifications in the latest Alabama High School Sports Association’s reclassification realignment, which was released on Tuesday.

The reclassification realignment process occurs every two years, and is based on the enrollment numbers of students in grades 9-11. The new reclassification realignment takes effect next fall.

In football, Escambia County and W.S. Neal remain in Class 4A, Region 1 with some new opponents. Williamson, which was in the region the last couple of years, is still in region 1.
