Alford G. “AL” Madaris, 67, of Walnut Hill, Fla. passed away on May 25, 2019 in Walnut Hill. He was born in Troy on October 24, 1951 to the late Samuel Alfred Fletcher and Willie Mancil Madaris. He retired from the United States Air Force and served during the Gulf War. 

He is survived by his wife, Deneen Madaris; one son, Nathaniel Collin Madaris; one daughter, Jessica Koren Madaris; and step-daughter, Krista (Bill) Sample.

A memorial service will be held this Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the Trinity Episcopal Church in Atmore.
