A search warrant executed by the Atmore Police Department, the Alabama Drug Task Force and the U.S. Marshal’s Office yielded drugs, firearms and a stolen road sign on Jan. 3, according to officials.

Atmore Police Chief Chuck Brooks said in a release that on Friday, officers with the APD, ADTF and U.S. Marshals executed a narcotic search warrant in the 5000 block of Highway 31.

“The search warrant was obtained after agents completed an investigation of illegal narcotic activity at the residence,” Brooks said in a release. “Agents entered the residence in the early morning hours and found an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia (scales and pipes), firearms and a stolen road sign.”

Brooks said no arrests were made at the completion of the search, but warrants have been signed for the person responsible.
