Landscaping will be added to bring additional color and plant life along the side of the building. New street lights, sidewalks and park space will improve the appearance of South Main Street.

“We’re bringing life and opportunities back into community spaces that have been left empty for some time,” said Greg Davis, project leader. “Transforming this historic vacant property into beautiful, open green space not only fosters growth and stronger communities but also contributes to a cleaner and healthier Atmore.”

The remaining buildings will feature murals that depict all that is Atmore. The projected completion of the improvements is forecasted to be mid-summer 2020.

Founded in 1915, FNBT is a locally-owned, FDIC insured community bank with its headquarters in Atmore. The bank has served the financial needs of neighbors and friends for over 100 years and currently operates through five conveniently located offices in Atmore, Excel, and Mobile.
