The Rev. Paul D. Enfinger, 81, of Davisville, Fla., passed away on February 18, 2020 in Pensacola, Fla. He was born on September 14, 1938 in Dale County to the late A.V. and Daisy Smith Enfinger.

Bro. Enfinger was a hardworking man and worked many jobs during his life. He was a lifeguard, a disc jockey “Perky Paul,” owned Enfinger Plumbing Co., worked at Vogtle Nuclear Plant, was a school bus driver, prison guard, served in the United States Army and he enjoyed farming.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loved his family and friends, but most of all he loved the Good Lord.

He was passionate about his ministry which he served over 45 years, he was a missionary, pastored five church’s during his life and then he founded Calvary Deliverance Temple in Davisville, where he pastored for over 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Bill Enfinger and Gary Enfinger; and a sister Ruth Ellis.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sheila McZilkey Enfinger of Davisville; two sons, Brian Enfinger of Little Rock and Doug Jordon of Dothan; one daughter, Gwen Enfinger of Little Rock; one sister, Jewel Myers of Panama City, Fla.; three grandchildren, Derek Brooks, Kristy Rucker and Caleb Kyle Enfinger; three great grandchildren, Christian Brooks, T.J. Brooks and Elijah Brooks; and many family and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Calvary Deliverance Temple in Davisville with Bro. Wendell Hadley and Bro. Floyd Hutto officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Brandon Wall, Bobby Matthews, Eric McZilkey, Eddie McZilkey, Daren Carnley and Paul Brown.

Visitation was held February 22 at Calvary Deliverance Temple.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
