Mr. Lynn Ervin Powell, 65, of Canoe, passed away on February 18, 2020.

He was born on May 8, 1954 in Pensacola, Fla.

He was a millwright at Georgia-Pacific in Brewton and is preceded in death by his parents, K.C. and Cordie Hopkins Powell; and his wife, Audrey Diane Powell.

He is survived by his two sons, Josh (April) Powell and Jesse Powell all of Kansas; two brothers, Rodney Powell of Gulf Shores and Bodie Baker of Oklahoma; two sisters, Gail Godwin of Andalusia and Jane Robbins of Texas; and four grandchildren, Alexis Powell, Jesse Lambert, Addison Powell and Jimmy Lambert.

Funeral services were held February 23, 2020 from Atmore Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in Serenity Gardens.

Active pallbearers were David Jones, Leon Crawfor, Jeff Hall, Wayne Baker, Ricky Golson and Gary Hall.

Family received friends February 23, 2020 at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. 

Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
