Mr. Kelvin “Andy” King, 46, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at his home in Atmore. 

Mr. King was a native of Brewton and a lifelong resident of the Escambia County, Ala. area.

He was a 1991 graduate of the Escambia County High School and was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Sue Wardrop; sister, Stephanie King; brother, John Wardrop; and grandparents, James P. and Lilly McRae. 

He is survived by his father, Carlton Ray (Sally) King of Huntsville; step-father, R. Glenn Wardrop of Atmore; one brother, Caleb (Kristal) Wardrop of Brewton; and one sister, Amanda (Ryan) Creighton of Huntsville. 

Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Wayne Ellis officiating. 

Burial will follow at Serenity Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be held today, March 11, 2020 from 9 a.m. until service time at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Hamrac, Pat McRae, Jerald McRae, Jerry McRae, Carry Gilbert and Gary Helton. 

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
