Mr. John David Norris, 77, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020, in Bay Minette. 

Mr. Norris was a native and lifelong resident of the Monroe County area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a logger until a sickness forced him into retirement. He was a member of the McCullough Christian Center.

He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Irene and Dennis Gentry; and sister, Gloria Bossier.

He is survived by his cousin and best friend, Iris Clrice Dunn of Uriah; one brother, James and Peggy Gentry; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held today, Wed., April 1, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the Phillips Cemetery with Bro. Richard Daniels officiating.
