Mrs. Sylvia Paulette Hadley, 72, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020, in Atmore. 

Mrs. Hadley was a native of Brewton, former resident of Bay Minette (where she spent most of her life) and had resided in Atmore for the past eight years.

She retired from Standard Furniture with 13 years of service. She loved gospel singings, going to church and her grandchildren. She was a member of the Hall’s Fork Assembly of God.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert Earl Hadley Sr.; son, Robert Earl Hadley Jr.; parents, Willis and Lucille Hadley; sister, Deborah Crossley; and grandson, Sandy Mitchell Hadley II.

She is survived by three sons, Sandy Mitchell (Donna) Hadley of Seminole, Edward (Kendall) Hadley of Bay Minette and Evan (Hali) Hadley of Perdido; two daughters, Lynda (Byran) Couch of Atmore and Lynn Hadley of Bay Minette; one brother, Willis Robert Whatley Jr. of Atmore; two sisters, Marilyn Diane Lambeth of Perdido and Delores Jackson of Brewton; 10 grandchildren, Jonathon Davis, Gavin Hadley, Sean Rolin, Cody, Rolin, Megan Hadley, Alison Wasdin, Alex Wasdin, Aaron Wasdin, Chloe Hadley and Conner Hadley; one great grandchild, Willow Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating. 

Burial followed at the Lottie New Home Cemetery.

Visitation was held March 30, 2020 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers were Bryan Couch, Sean Rolin, Cody Rolin, Jonathon Davis, Aaron Wasdin and Jack Lambeth.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
