Mrs. Alexandra DeShay Owens (Maye) was born September 28, 1993 to parentage of Katina Riley and James Owens in Atmore.

Owens (Maye) passed away on Sun., April 5, 2020.

She was a graduate of Escambia County High School (Class of 2012) and had attended Coastal Community College in Bay Minette. She was CEO and founder of Brighter Future Solutions. She was the mother of an adorable son, Austin. In her leisure, she enjoyed going to the beach and hanging with family and friends.

She was awarded the Pinnacle Award of Courage at the 2019 Grind Awards Ceremony in Mobile.

Memories of her beautiful life will live on in the hearts of her husband, Tony Maye of Mobile; her adorable son, Austin Maye of Atmore; her loving mother and stepfather, Katina and Oscar McCarty of Atmore; her father, James Owens of Convent, La.; her sister, Amelia Owens of Atmore; her grandparents, Bobby and Mary Riley of Atmore; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
