Ms. Annette Lee, 64, of Rock Island, Ill., formerly of Atmore, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Sat., March 21, 2020 in Rock Island.

A native of Atmore, Annette was a longtime resident of Rock Island.

She had been employed at International Harvester and Servus Rubber. She was a member of People’s Missionary Baptist Church in Rock Island.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and listening to music. As well as, enjoying her Saturdays eating KFC with her son, Rodney.

Those whom she join on the other side of the Pearly Gates are her parents, Ervin and Annie Melvin Lee; a sister, Mildred Lee; a brother, Alvin Johnson; a sister in law, Eunice Johnson; three nephews, Scottie Barron, Phillip (PJ) Young and Ervin Angel Lee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Those left to cherish beautiful memories of her life are her loving son, Rodney D. Lee of Moline, Ill.; three sisters, Dorothy (Ray) Marshall and Earnestine (Willie) Barron, both of Atmore, and Cindy Lee of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Ervin (Danice) Lee Jr. of Atmore; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private graveside service was held April 4, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Ledell Johnson Jr. officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
