2nd round of storms slated for tomorrow

Another round of severe weather is expected for the area tomorrow, Thurs., April 23, according to the National Weather Service.

The main threats include damaging wind, hail and tornadoes.

According to the NWS’s Mobile Facebook page, a line of strong to servere storms are possible early Thursday morning.

Then, a second round of storms will develop over southeast Mississippi and move east through the late afternoon on Thursday. Discrete supercells and supercell clusters capable of producing all severe weather hazards (damaging wind, hail, and tornadoes – a few could be strong, again) will be possible.”

Additionally, there are still some uncertainties with this second round of storms as the forecast details may change, according to the NWS.
