Gerda Taylor, 83, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away on April 16, 2020, in Fort Walton Beach.

She was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on September 18, 1936, to the late Rudolf and Elisabeth Dora Holz Muth. She was a homemaker most of her life, but she did work as a mailroom supervisor for Morrison, Inc. and Daily Access Corporation for at least 30 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Taylor Sr.; and a son, Hans Taylor.

She is survived by her children, Luther (Nookan Walden) Taylor Jr. and Rosa Maria (Kenneth) Erdberg, both of Fort Walton Beach; one brother, Helmut Kolb of Grand Cayman Islands; a sister, Inge Weingartner of Frankfurt; and three grandchildren, Luther Adam Taylor, David Ryan Erdberg and Michael Taylor Erdberg.

Graveside services were held April 20, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Albertell officiating. Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
