ECSS selected as eMTY participant

The Escambia County School System has been approved to participate in the Emergency Meals-to-You (eMTY) program, according to a release.

The program is provided by Baylor University, and provides 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches every two weeks to students who were receiving those meals through the National School Lunch program.

The meals are shelf stable and will be delivered by UPS, USPS or FedEx, according to a release.

The meals will be provided to families that enroll until June 30, 2020. Enrollment began on May 4 and ends this Fri., May 8.
