Mrs. Dorothy Beasley “Dot” Morgan, 81, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020, at her home in Flomaton.
Mrs. Morgan was a native and lifelong resident of Flomaton.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a retired secretary from Flomaton Elementary/Middle School with 28 years of service, and was a member of the Little Escambia Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Winfred Morgan; two sons, Darryl Morgan and Vince Morgan; and parents, Ollie and Gladys Beasley.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Glenn) Fountain of Canoe; daughter in law, Helen Morgan of Flomaton; sister, Shirley Beasley (Wallace) Diamond of Flomaton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on May 18, 2020 at the Little Escambia Cemetery with Dr. Larry Patterson and Bro. Jonathan Hill officiating.
Visitation was held May 18, 2020 at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Aaron Fountain, Nicholas Morgan, Michael Ledford, Kevin Douglas, Tyler Hutchcraft, Zach Holland and Ryan Long.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
