Southern Pine Electric Co-op officials announced today that some people are calling members and telling them they owe an outstanding balance.

“At no time will Southern Pine contact anyone by phone about their electric account,” officials said in a release. “If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be a representative of Southern Pine Electric Co-op, do not give them any information and please hang up the phone and contact Southern Pine immediately.”
