Mr. George Montgomery, 85, of Atmore, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Fri., June 5, 2020, at Atmore Community Hospital.

A native of Alabama and a resident of Atmore, Mr. Montgomery worked for many years at Scott Paper Co.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Bullard Montgomery; and a son.

Those left to cherish memories of his life are two daughters, Patricia Mason and Nicole Walker; three sons, Robert Montgomery, Curtis Montgomery and Gary Montgomery; and two sisters, Mable knight and Bessie Mahoney.

A graveside service will be held today, Wed., June 10, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Donzell Young Sr. officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel LLC directing.
