Mrs. Yvonne Savage Bradley, 67, of Cantonment, Fla. formerly of Walnut Hill, Fla. fell asleep in the arms of Jesus at her home on Sat., June 13, 2020.

A native Tarboro, N.C., Mrs. Bradley had been of resident of Walnut Hill for many years and Cantonment for two weeks.

She had been employed at the Grain Elevator in Walnut Hill and as a substitute teacher for the Escambia County (Ala.) Board of Education.

She was a faithful member of Gaines Chapel AME Church, Atmore, where she was a Sunday School teacher and women’s day coordinator.

She was active in various positions at Gaines Chapel.

She loved children and she motivated them to be the best they can be. She loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Bradley; her parents, Ernest and Bessie Savage; and two brothers, Homer Savage and Dennis L. Savage.

Those left to cherish beautiful memories of her life are her two sons, Rodney(Desiree) Bradley of Mobile and Patrick Bradley of Cantonment; four sisters, Kattie (George) Cherry, Erma (Dewey)Revis, Bessie (Stanley) all of Rocky Mount, N.C. and Myrian D. Savage of Pinetops, N.C.; three brothers, Rufus Savage of Rocky Mount, Ernest (Wanda) Savage and Vernon (Vickie) Savage; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services with social distance and face mask required will be held Fri., June 19, 2020 at noon at New Birth Baptist Church, 1610 Ave Q, Pensacola, Fla. with the Rev. Floyd Peacock, gracious host and the Rev. Cleitus Walker Sr., as eulogist. Inhumation will be at 2 p.m. in Barrancas National Cemetery at NAS Pensacola, Fla. Public viewing will be this Thursday from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
