The Escambia County Healthcare Authority announced today there have been 85 confirmed COVID-19 cases reported out of its two hospitals in the county.

The latest numbers reported included an increase of 12 cases from June 12.

According to ECHA’s biweekly COVID19 Update 6 19 20, there have been 71 confirmed cases reported at Atmore Community Hospital, and 14 cases at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital.

At ACH, 629 specimens have been collected with 537 negative results, 19 pending and two inconclusive.

At DWM, 352 specimens have been collected with 334 negative results, three pending and one inconclusive.
The ECHA updates these numbers twice a week to reflect current case numbers. Due to the timing of the information, the numbers may differ from the numbers on the Alabama Department of Public Health’s website.

According to the ADPH, there have been 123 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported with 1,728 specimens collected and four confirmed deaths in Escambia County, Ala.
