Norton named interim executive director of chamber

The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced today that Anna Norton will serve as the interim executive director, according to a release.
Norton previously served as the chamber’s executive assistant, and replaces Emily Wilson, who served as the executive director since January 2018.
“The board of directors feel confident in Anna’s ability to transition and serve in this interim role well,” the release said. “Anna can be reached at

“The chamber of commerce appreciates your support and will continue to serve our trustees, members and community with dedication and professionalism,” the board said.
When asked for comment on Wilson’s departure from the chamber, the board officials declined to comment.
