Ms. Clarice Dailey, 69, of Atmore (Freemanville Community) entered the joy of the Lord on Tues., July 14, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
A native of Atmore, Ms. Dailey was a 1967 graduate of Escambia County Training School and a lifetime faithful devoted member of the Mt. Gillead Baptist Church, where she a devoted usher, as well as president of the Junior Usher Board; member of the Senior Choir; and little Children’s Sunday School teacher.
She had worked at Monsanto Chemical Co. in Pensacola.
She was an Avon rep for over 40 years in the Freemanville Community.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Mae Dailey.
Those left to cherish beautiful memories of her life are her daughter, Erika L. Dailey of Atmore; her father, Deacon Jethro Dailey Sr. of Atmore; seven sisters, Evelyn Akers, Zernice Valerie, Mildred McKenzie, Neva Taylor and LaTongia Tucker, all of Atmore, Mary Dailey and Wilhelmenia Hielmer, both of Huntsville; three brothers, Jethro Dailey Jr. of Huntsville, Ricky Dailey and Erwin Dailey, both of Atmore; one grandson, Darious Dailey; and three great-grandchildren.
A public walk through viewing will be this Fri., July 24, from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be held this Sat., July 25, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Bishop Bernard Bishop officiating and Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
