Daniel “Danny” Ray Hooks, 64, of Pineview, passed away on July 20, 2020.

He was born on May 28, 1956 in Brewton.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Fletcher Hooks Jr.; his mother, Mattie Ree Emmons Hooks Welch; his stepmother, Shirley Hooks; and his brother, Mike Hooks.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry White Hooks; and two sons, Ryan Hooks of Pineview and Josh Hooks of Brewton.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
