The 2020 Poarch Creek Indian Tribal election is slated for this Sat., Aug. 1.

Two are running for tribal chairman, and nine are running for at large seats. Two at large seats are being contested, while one for chairman.

Those running for tribal chair include Stephanie A. Bryan, incumbent; and Dewitt Champ Carter.

Those running for the at large seats include Randy Adams, Keith Colbert, Candace Fayard, David Gehman, Leasha Martin, Arthur Mothershed, John O’Barr, Johnny Ray Steadham and Megan L. Young.

Polls close on Saturday at 7 p.m. with the announcement of the winners afterward.
