Mr. Jimmy Daniel “Boone” Wood, 48, passed away on Fri., July 31, 2020, in Pensacola, Fla.

Mr. Wood was a native and former resident of Century, Fla. and had resided in Jay, Fla. for the past 22 years.

Boone was a 1991 graduate of Century High School and a member of the Ebenezer Church.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar W. and Bertha Lee Wood, and James and Sybil Ratliff; and brother, James O. Wood.

He is survived by his father, Jimmy (Glenda) Wood of Jay; mother, Patty Faye Inman of Jay; two sisters, Evelyn (Cliff) Emmons of Flomaton and Belinda (Daniel) Morgan of Atmore; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Tues., Aug. 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the Ebenezer Church with Bro. Bobby Carnley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ebenezer Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held today, Mon., Aug. 3, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Brenton, Emmons, Quinton Emmons, James Emmons, Jackie Wayne Carnley, Zach Carnley and Kevin Dixon.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
