Leon Jackson was born on Dec. 6, 1956, in Atmore, to the late Mr. Eddie and Elnora Jackson. He was a faithful and devoted member of Empowerment Tabernacle Christian Center.

He made his sweet transition on Aug. 8, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Park Place of Pensacola, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lilly Mae Jackson-North, Mary Lee Jackson Knotts, Irish Jean Jackson and Lola Mae Ikner; and brothers, Sonny Jackson, Willie James Jackson, Eddie Jackson and Edward Jackson.

Those who will forever cherish his memory include his loving child, WyKesha Sharp of Atmore; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Annie Lou Wiggins (Bobby) of Pensacola, Larry Jackson (Ann) of Andalusia; a special friend, Shadara Heninburg (Fly); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held this Sat., Aug. 15, 2020, at 3 p.m. with Bishop Catadro North as pastor, and Eulogist Elect Lady Kimberly North as co pastor.

Graveside will be at Fairview Cemetery with Mayberry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
