Much like many things nowadays, things will look a lot different during home games at Escambia County.

Blue Devils head football coach Scott Mason said the stadium capacity, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will be at 50 percent this fall. He added that some school systems have gone to 30 percent capacity.

Mason said family units can sit six-feet apart from each other in the blue painted areas in the stadium, and all are required to wear a face covering.

Mason said the stadium’s capacity is at 9,564, and the home and away bleachers are the same.

Because of the size of Atmore’s stadium, the maximum number of fans that can sit on each side is 2,400.

“Family units are allowed to sit with each other,” Mason said.

W.S. Neal head football coach Andro Williams and T.R. Miller head football coach Brent Hubbert confirmed Monday that their stadiums will also be at 50 percent capacity during home games.
