Mrs. Dorothy Eloise Steadham, 90, passed away on Wed., Aug. 26, 2020 in Pensacola, Fla.

Mrs. Steadham was a native and lifelong resident of McDavid, Fla. She loved fishing, flowers, hummingbirds and mostly her grandbabies.

She was a member of Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ben Steadham; parents, Ben and Clara Gilmore; and son, Roy Steadham.

She is survived by her two sons, Nathan Hordy of Bratt, Fla. and Dalton Steadham of McDavid, Fla.; two daughters, Sandra (Mack Jr.) Morris of McDavid and Mary (Raymond) Cranford of Savannah, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held next Mon., Aug. 31, 2020 at 3 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Ray’s Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held this Sun., August 30, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Steadham, Jeffery Steadham, Jonathan Godwin, Steve McCauley, Lee Jernigan and Michael Long.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
