Flomaton and T.R. Miller’s didn’t move, and Escambia Academy rose one spot in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association football poll, which was released today.

The Hurricanes played Maplesville in an exhibition road game on Sept. 4, while T.R. Miller topped Cottage Hill 35-13 and EA downing Patrician Academy 49-24 in region play.

The Hurricanes are No. 4, while the Tigers are at No. 5 in Class 3A.

EA rose to No. 7.

The Tigers are slated to host Chickasaw; Flomaton is slated to host Cottage Hill; and EA is slated to host Wilcox Academy.

Kick offs Friday are at 7 p.m.
