Mr. Gregory Mark Mayo, 50, passed away on Thurs., Sept. 3, 2020, in Pensacola, Fla.

Mr. Mayo had resided in Range for most of his life. Greg was a mechanic with the City of Brewton.

He was a 1987 graduate of Repton High School, where he played football and baseball. He was a youth football coach since he was 18, and served two years as an assistant coach for Sparta Academy in Evergreen.

Greg was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Margie Mayo; a brother, Michael Dewayne Mayo; and a son, Cory Mayo.

He is survived by his wife , Tammy McBrayer Mayo of Range;  two sons, Todd Mayo of Range and Tony McBrayer of Range; two daughters, Kayla Mayo of Range and Brittany Parker (Devan) of Empire; and five grandchildren

Funeral services were held on Sept. 6, 2020 at the House of Prayer Pentecostal Church of Range with Bros. Alton Pittman and Bobby Boatwright officiating.

Burial followed at the Range Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Todd Mayo, Tony McBrayer, Daryl Knowles, Tim Blackmon, Daryl Brantley and Todd Conway.

Honorary pallbearers were Mitch Hammack, Tim Hammack and Bobby Knowles.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
