Mrs. Tammy Annette Blackwell, 57, passed away on Wed., Sept. 9, 2020 in Rome, Ga.

Mrs. Blackwell was a native Brewton and had resided in Cedar Bluff for the past 13 years. She was safety director with J-Mar Trucking in Atmore for many years and was a secretary for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend. She loved being outdoors fishing and hunting and was a member of the Hall’s Creek Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Knowles Lord; brother, Rodney Lord; and uncle, Curtis Knowles.

She is survived by her father, Johnny Lord of Garfield, Ky.; husband of 33 years, Pernell S. Blackwell of Cedar Bluff; one son, Keilan (Allison) Lord of Centre; two daughters, Chastity (Clint) Salter of Brewton and Amber Blackwell (Joshua Thompson) of Leesburg; two brothers, Daniel Lord of Birmingham and Vince (Vicki) Lord of Cullman; one sister, Lorie (James) Mims of Birmingham; sister in law, Rhonda (Wayne) Stringer of Atmore; and nine grandchildren, Drake, Tori, Kole, Payton, Kacen, Gage, Brooklyn, Makayla and Kamden.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Sat., Sept. 12, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Harris officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hall’s Creek Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held today, Fri., Sept. 11, 2020, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Boutwell, Anthony Boutwell, Brandon Moore, Wayne Stringer, Clay Stringer and Josh Thompson.
