The Escambia County Healthcare Authority released its latest COVID-19 numbers from its two hospitals on Sept. 15.

There have been 795 reported cases of the coronavirus from both hospitals, an increase of 24 since Sept. 4.

Five-hundred-and-fifty-nine cases have been reported out of Atmore Community Hospital, while 236 have been reported out of D.W. McMillan Memorial.

At ACH, 2,593 specimens have been collected with 1,963 negative results, 30 pending and 41 inconclusive.

At DWM, 1,206 specimens have been collected with 938 negative results, eight pending and 24 inconclusive.

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health, there have been 1,302 confirmed cases in Escambia County with 23 confirmed patient deaths.
