Margaret Ann “Cricket” Brown, 64, of Poarch, passed away on Sept. 8, 2020, in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born in Century, Fla. on Nov. 16, 1955.

She lived most of her life in Bratt, Fla. and was a member of Bratt Assembly of God Church. She loved her family and was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Braves.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Estelle Buckhault; her daughter, Wendy Waller; and infant grandson, Marcus Boutwell Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Brown (Ernest) Rolin of Poarch; two sisters, Helen (Larry) Lassitter of Atmore and Connie (Ronnie) Whatley of Perdido; her grandchildren, Houston Waller (Annie Cooper) and Peyton Waller (Shawn McKinley), Whitney Westbrook (Mason Jones), Keiana and Nikolas McBride and Niko and Niyah Godwin; her great-grandchildren, Alaiah, Thomas and Kairi; her nieces, Kasey Atkins, Kelli and Kimberly Boatwright, Karen McLauthon, Jennifer (Scott) Lassitter; and her nephew, Blake Lassitter.

A funeral service was held Sept. 11, 2020 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kathy Stopel officiating. Interment followed at Bratt-Godwin Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Houston Waller, Shawn McKinley, Mason Jones, Henry Wiggins, Adam Young, Jamie Young, Andrew Lusk and Brian Waller.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
