Mrs. Doris June Haynie, 79, passed away on Fri., Sept. 11, 2020 in Pensacola, Fla.

Mrs. Haynie had resided in Bratt, Fla. for most of her life. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed archery, loved crafts and crossword puzzles, etc. She was a seamstress with Vanity Fair and a member of the Bratt First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Haynie; parents, Robert “Jack” and Mae Blanche York; and two brothers, Harold York and Claude York.

She is survived by her two sons, Stan Haynie of Bratt and Tony (Kathy) Haynie of Bratt; one brother, Ronnie (Phylis) York of Little Rock, Ga.; three sisters, Betty (James) Amerson of Bratt, Gloria Ann Ledkins of Atmore and Peggy (Billy) Mauldin of Atmore; four grandchildren, Brandon Haynie, Derek Haynie, Clayton Stacey and T.J. Haynie; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service was held on Sept. 19, 2020 at the Bratt First Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Hawsey officiating.

Burial followed at the Godwin Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clayton Stacey, Troy Clemmons, Luke McDaniel, Earl Garrett, T.J. Haynie and Ronnie Macks.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
