Mr. Barney Willard Cash, 88, passed away on Tues., Oct. 6, 2020, at his home in Century, Fla. 

Mr. Cash was a native of Valley, former resident of Brewton and had resided in Century for the past 52 years. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He was owner-operator of Century Motors, enjoyed farming and was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Wayne Cash; parents, Willard and Cora Cash; three brothers; and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Irene Odom Cash of Century; one son, Barney (Lisa) Cash Jr. of Century; one daughter, Kay Cash (Kenny) Hammac of Century; one daughter in law, Karen Cash of Flomaton; four brothers, George (Ann) Cash of Bay Minette, Odell (Linda) Cash of Huntsville, Gene (Aggie) Cash of Franklin, Tenn. and Milford Cash of Pensacola, Fla.; four sisters, Joyce (Al) Erskin of Texas, Shirley (Wayne) Owens of Brewton, Becky Cash of Pensacola and Linda Batte of Brewton; four grandchildren, Beth Ward, Ryan Cash, Kenny Hammac Jr. and Kristal Hammac; six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brooklyn, Gavin, Paislee, Emma and Kyler; one great-great grandson, Linkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Sat., Oct. 10, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Johnson and the Rev. Doug Odom officiating. 

Burial will follow at the McCurdy Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held tomorrow, Oct. 10, 2020 from noon until service time at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers will be Ryan Cash, Bill Hammond, Don Cox, Greg Odom, Kevin Odom and William Odom.  

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
