Barbara Lanette “Nette” Hardy, 73, of Atmore, passed away on Oct. 16, 2020.

She was born on March 14, 1947 in Atmore to the late Joseph and Hattie Phillips Hardy, and was a member of Lottie Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lucille Zeringue and Lois Hall; and her brothers, Louie Hardy, Leslie Hardy, Lamar Hardy and Leonard Ray Hardy.

She is survived by her sisters, Latisha Phillips of Stockton, LaBetty (Gene) Singleton of Atmore, Sarah (Hoyt) Coon of Atmore and Linda Garrick of Greensboro, N.C.; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside service was held on Oct. 19, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore with Bro. Chris Pruitt officiating.

The family wishes to thank the many caregivers that took special care of her during her life.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
