Mr. Barney Eugene Tyree Sr., 82, of Range, formerly of McCullough, passed away on Thurs., Oct. 15, 2020 in Mobile.
He was a retired automotive mechanic born in McCullough to the late Wilton and Martha Taylor Tyree on Feb. 12, 1938.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Tyree and Billy Tyree; and a sister, Rachel Stewart.
Survivors include a wife, Cornelia “Doodle” (Knowles) Tyree of Range; a son, Barney Eugene Tyree Jr. of Range; a daughter, Renee Treece (Tim) of Brewton; two sisters, Hazel Boss (Floyd) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Shirley Andress (Douglas) of Lakeland, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kristin Homan (Nathan) and Ansley Tyree; and one great-grandchild, Ella Homan.
Service and internment were held for family only at graveside on Oct. 18, 2020 at Range Cemetery on Range Cemetery Road in Range and was handled by Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Boatwright officiating.
Monroe Chapel Inc. of Monroeville was in charge of all arrangements.
